Little Fox: Phonics

This week and next week we will be covering short i families, the following week we will finish off our short vowels with letter u. I have been using these little stories in class with the students and I think they are great for watching again at home too!

New Class Schedule

A few changes have been made to the class schedule this term, they are as followed:

Science: The Seasons

This month and next the students will be looking at the different seasons of the year and completing many art projects alongside their learning. Here is a great song to teach kids about the different seasons!

phonics: Short o - ot and op endings

During the students first week back at school we will be reviewing the short vowel sounds and focusing in on the letter o. We will be watching the following videos in class, the students job is to find the ot and op endings in the story as it plays. Feel free to practice this activity at home with them as well.

Read Aloud Reviews: "No David" and "Inturrupting Chicken"

The students will be reviewing the following books for the first few days of school to get them back into the classroom rules and routines.
