Read Aloud for next Friday

We will be reading this book on Friday when we come back from the break. The students and I will compare it to Llama Llama and the Bully Goat. The students may watch it now to become familiar with the story. Click the picture to watch.

Please spend some time playing this game with your child. It is great practice for what we have  currently been covering in class. You can choose to play each game individually at a time or hit the 'play all' section down at the bottom.

Earth Day

What a fantastic book about reasons to do something nice for our earth. Check out the link to view. The kids also learned a bit about recycling (click on the picture to watch the video) and as a class we visited the yellow bin downstairs. Everyone looked great in their earth colours!

Spring into Reading bulletin board

Next time you walk down the primary wing, have a look at our Spring into Reading board. Grade 1a and Grade 1b made some fantastic reading frogs to display on our board. Some pictures of the students reading are also on display. Nice work grade ones!

Science: The Very Best Bed

The students enjoyed this lovely read aloud about different animal homes while they laid in their sleeping bags and cuddled up to their stuffies.
